United Way Mission: To increase the organized capacity of people to care for one another.

Funds raised will help support 15 local health care and human service agencies who provide programs for residents in our 40-mile service area.  Program services reach residents in Des Moines, Henry, Lee and Louisa counties in Iowa and parts of Henderson and Hancock counties in Illinois.

United Way funded agencies will receive allocations from funds raised in the fall campaign begining in January of 2014.

The demand for services continually increases and resources are often strained.  Working with many partners, United Way continually looks for long-term ways to ensure that people who need assistance receive the help they need.  Thank you for your thoughtful consideration to help.  It is appreciated by many.

2014 CAMPAIGN MAKES GOAL!

Funds raised during the Annual United Way Campaign benefit many people in the 40-mile radius service area.  Local United Way dollares provide those being helped with the assistance they need at a time when they need it most.

Everyone's efforts and support are truly appreciated ... the impact it has on many people and their families is tremendous.
